Welcome to Tidepool. These Terms of Use set out the rules for using tidepoolplay.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you're agreeing to these terms — if you'd rather not, please don't use the Site.

1. About Tidepool

Tidepool is a free-to-play social casino meant purely for entertainment. It hosts casino-style games played with virtual credits, and it never involves real-money gambling or the chance to win real-world money or prizes.

2. Who can use it

This Site is built for adults aged 21 and older. Using the Site or signing up for an account means you're confirming you meet that age requirement. We reserve the right to remove any account we suspect belongs to someone younger than 21.

3. About virtual credits

• Virtual credits are handed out at no cost, purely to make the games fun to play.
• They hold no monetary value whatsoever.
• They cannot be traded, sold, transferred, or converted into cash, goods, services, or anything else of real value.
• Your virtual credit balance can reset at any time — even each time a game reloads.
• Nothing on the Site is for sale. There's no need to buy anything, and there are no in-app purchases of any kind.

4. Your account

Setting up an account is optional — every game can be played without one. If you do register, you agree to provide accurate details and keep your password private. You're responsible for whatever happens under your login. Want your account gone? Just email us at support@tidepoolplay.com.

5. It's not gambling, and there are no winnings

Nothing on this Site qualifies as gambling. There's no wagering, winning, or losing real money here. Doing well at these games tells you nothing about how you'd fare gambling with real stakes.

6. About the games themselves

Every game here is part of the Tidepool experience, offered purely to entertain. Some of that content is streamed in from outside servers run by third parties. We can add, swap out, or pull any game at any time, and we don't promise that any particular title will stick around.

7. Using the Site responsibly

You agree not to disrupt the Site, try to get around its access controls, scrape it at scale, or use it in any way that breaks the law.

8. No warranties

The Site is offered "as is" and "as available," with no guarantees of any kind, spoken or implied. We can't promise it'll always run smoothly or be free of errors.

9. Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, Tidepool and the people who run it won't be on the hook for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages tied to your use of the Site. Since it's all free, the most we could ever owe you for any claim is one hundred US dollars.

10. Updates to these terms

These terms may change over time — check the date at the top for the latest version. If you keep using the Site after a change, that means you're on board with the update.

11. Which laws apply

These terms fall under Delaware law, regardless of conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes go through the state or federal courts based in Delaware.
